Why does Netflix say I'm using a proxy when I'm not?

How do I get rid of proxy or unblocker?

I have an ad blocker installed on my computer and it is working fine. But sometimes when I try to download a file, or connect to the internet using any browser, I get an error message saying "Proxy blocked connection. Could not connect to this server" or something like that.

How do I get rid of this annoying error? Please help me! Thank you! how to get rid of a proxy server? I need to know how to get rid of a proxy server that blocks certain websites. Is there a way to uninstall it without getting rid of all of the programs that are associated with it? I know that some of the programs are associated with Internet Explorer, but I don't want to get rid of that either. Thanks in advance.

I have a proxy server that blocks certain websites, and my connection is slow, and if I turn off the firewall, it doesn't work. How do I get rid of the proxy server? How do I block the usage of a certain program? I am using Windows XP, and have a program I do not want to use. I know I can use the Unblock-Webpage website, but it does not work very well. Sometimes I can open up a web page, and sometimes it doesn't even open.

Is there any other way I can do this? I would like to find a website that will show me the location of the program, and tell me what options I have to block it.

Why am I not using a VPN but Netflix thinks I am?

I have been trying to watch Netflix in the UK for a few weeks now but have found it impossible. My laptop has the latest version of Netflix and I've been using Hola to connect to the US version. I've tried to use a VPN as well but without any luck. I've tried the VPN's recommended by Netflix and several others that I've found from Amazon.

My problem is that when I try to watch Netflix on my laptop I get the error message "your connection is not private" and in the top right corner it says "no encryption." And when I try to watch something online, for example Amazon or the BBC it says "Your connection is not private." So what is the problem and how can I fix it?

Netflix cannot support VPN services (due to licensing issues). If you want to use a VPN, you'll need to get a VPN client for your device and configure it to use your VPN. For example, here's a list of VPN services that support Netflix.

How to fix Netflix you seem to be using an unblocker or proxy?

- d4c: ?

I just get a "You seem to be using a unbloked or blocked connection. " And then nothing. The error message comes up in a popup saying this. "Your computer is currently connected to more than one network interface, which means that you may not have the privacy settings on this network location set up properly for your privacy settings". (click here for the error details). Netflix doesn't seem to show up in the search bar on the web after trying all the workarounds and I get that error message. Please help! In my Firefox window's network tab I can see that the IP is being shown as. 168.0.13
But from a couple of other sources I've come across it has a 192.13 and 198.30.50
As well. Now when I check my router settings I'm sure this is setup correctly. What I need to do to get Netflix working correctly and where I should look to figure out why it's not working correctly? Also I have Windows 10 Pro with Netflix built-in and the latest version of my Java. It was so simple. I just clicked connect in the network location settings and now everything is perfect. I hope this helps others.

Edit: Now for the question if it can happen to someone else: I was searching how to fix this problem (on Windows 10) in all the threads at the netflix forum. Then found this post: which basically said I would have to click "connect to a network location" in the "network location settings". But it wasn't possible for me to do so since I didn't know how to click on it . It was hidden in the left pane.

Why does Netflix say I'm using a proxy when I'm not?

My friend sent me a photo of her using Netflix with my name and address. I use a VPN (Private Internet Access) and I am behind a router with NAT enabled, so it should not have any way to know where I am physically located. I'm very confused as to how this could have happened. Any ideas?

Did you forward your DNS query to the IP address of your router? If you're using the OpenDNS free service for DNS, you can do that by clicking the 'Forward DNS queries' button on the openDNS home page. You'll need to use the same userid/password as the one you use for the VPN connection.
