What is no ip domain lookup in cisco?
What is the use of searching for a domain of names that the server returns?
In general, what is its benefit and when it is used? Also, it seems that searching for a domain will be done by the hostname instead of the IP address. Then, how does the look up process work in the case of the hostname? For example, when I type the name of my router into the browser, it returns the IP address. Is this the benefit of searching for a domain by a name?
When the Domain name cannot be resolved the ip can be resolved to a name. The browser then queries the name servers at the domain and then returns the ip. The domain name of a router is not useful. It's useless.
