This is partly because it can offer a better overview than analytics and partly because it is becoming a key part of the ranking factors. When you want to report something quickly, it's a great tool. But where it really starts to benefit is if your website is using its crawl budget and making sure that you are meeting it. If not, then you may need to make adjustments to make sure your site is able to compete in Google search, especially as it has recently announced mobile search engine visibility.

Now you need to fill out all the details on the Search Console tab and I have done both sites below. I was going to fill out Google Analytics but I don't want people using my client site through their mobile phone browser. I always test my own sites, so this is just about as I will test it for any clients.
Both the URLs are the exact same, however, there are two ways were going to run them. It's a different story with each of them, however.
Private Site (Private URL). As shown in image 1, there are no filters. So it means that each keyword is going to be indexed as well as all the images on the page (all of which were indexed) so if this were real world example we would have all sorts of images indexed, but what do you need your site for. A portfolio or not? If it's real world, wouldn't the pictures be just about as indexed as the title tag? They're going to be in the first couple pages (if we could talk to robots!
