Is Shadow faster than Sonic?
Well I just played Shadow and it is extremely fast for a shadow clone.
Sonic and all the other clones seem to be lagging behind in comparison. I was able to just jump over people who were trying to get close to the enemies while they were still standing on the platforms.
My question is, does this mean the game is too easy or that I need to practice more? The game has no difficulty. Any enemy is easily killable. It's a test of reflexes, not skill.
Shadow, as I said before, is very fast in both speed and maneuverability. Your reflexes are important, but there's nothing to memorize. Once you've taken your first jump, it's all about timing. Try to jump just as your opponent begins to move.
Also, I'd recommend playing as Shadow until you're comfortable with it, then try playing as Sonic. You have to learn how to hit them when they're moving. Not the other way around. But the faster you are, the less time you have to make a decision.
I agree. I also felt like I had to play as Sonic for the first 30 minutes. I haven't tried playing as him since.
Shadow is really fun to play. I recommend it to any one new to Sonic games.
Just remember to make your own decisions, not yours. If you don't have an opponent that you can kill, just let them pass. Otherwise, you'll be doing all the work.
Is Shadow Hedgehog good or bad?
Is this new hero on an up hill journey?
We're going to go over both of these questions in detail.
First, you can now make a Shadow Hunter while being level 3 ! This is possible due to the buff that went to Hunter's Arrow (Q). When you do Shadow Hunter Q, your Arrow (Q) becomes 2% slow, and the animation of Q becomes a slow attack. So if the slow was there before, it now increases to 6% slow.
Now as we all know the slow effect is one of the most underestimated of the damage reduction. Since slow applies to the target, there's a lot more damage reduction, and we see the exact moment how damage is reduced for each item . This means the more damage reduction we get, the longer this weapon will be a viable choice.
For instance, the level 16 version only gives you 45 damage with 2% slower for an 8 second cooldown. Now at level 20 it will actually deal 67 damage with 2% slow ! To get 67 damage you need to get rid of 7 seconds of cooldown. And you can add on extra damage if you really want by adding one of those other 5% slow effects, like the Ghost or Miasma to further reduce the cooldown of Shadow Hunter (Q). But that's another story.
But I know the question many of you have is, WTF am I gonna use this? Let's discuss: How does Shadow Hunter function in a team? As a support hunter? Who does it work best with? What's my win rate? We are going to answer these questions in addition to making a final judgment call on whether or not Shadow Hunter is a good hero or not. You'll notice though that our judgment comes from a lot of in-game testing and not from theorycrafting, and that's ok.
The following article takes a look at some hero usage data and how Shadow Hunter performs against some popular supports such as Zeratul, Medivh, Sonya, Li Li, and Zagara. We are also going to talk about Shadow Hunter's best team compositions and the ideal support for your team to help them succeed.
Let's jump right in and get it done.
