Is TouchVPN any good?

Is TouchVPN Secure and Unlimited VPN proxy safe?

TouchVPN allows you to connect anonymously from any place in the world.

Our anonymous VPN hides your IP address and you can surf the web on your laptop, PC, smart phone and tablet. Does TouchVPN provide free VPN? Yes, we do. No, we don't. We do not charge any money for our services so it is completely free for you. Is there any way I can test this free of cost? You can download a free test version and give it a try for 14 days. If you enjoy the service, you can upgrade to the full service and we will give you the discount for that version.

I do not have this version, can I still test it? You can test it at no cost by downloading the trial version here (30 days). If you like our free trial offer, just email us and we will upgrade your account for no extra charge. Do I get full protection by connecting with TouchVPN? This depends on the version of service you choose. With an open access trial plan, all your activities are protected when you are browsing the internet.

But only the applications installed on your Windows system are able to recognize your computer's IP address and hence monitor the information you transfer or post. In this case, you get the added security of SSL/TLS encryption. You need to log in to get the maximum benefit of protection from eavesdropping and surveillance. You will not be able to protect your anonymity if you are using an open source operating system such as Ubuntu Linux.

So I need to be cautious about what I use this program for. As long as you are not breaking any laws, there is no harm done. TouchVPN encrypts all your activity automatically. There is no risk of compromising privacy.

Also there are lots of other free sites around the web you can use to check or search for anything. This is not the same thing as using VPN services on your PC.

Is TouchVPN safe and secure for streaming TV, movies? No, because most video content providers use DRM (Digital Rights Management) systems that require proprietary software on the computer. If you want to stream content across platforms, it is best to use a VPN service that has built-in security systems.

Is TouchVPN completely free?

Is anyone who has had any issues with it?

Has it worked for you guys? Is it the right service for someone? Would love to hear your thoughts and feedbacks.

The free version does restrict your bandwidth. As you may imagine it doesn't do too much but that's as expected with a free VPN They offer a small one off price though of 6.25 per month so it's good value and if you only want them as a browser on android/ios/windows then no issue. Only down side is limited to using a certain amount of data a day, it's not a complete no for some! :p

It certainly isn't a VPN for newbies or beginners. It's aimed more at intermediate users and people who have their own servers. I've always felt a bit lost with the interface compared to our VPN apps (eg NordVPN). We've used to the interface in the past with IPVanish though. They're good but I think the touch is what I really enjoy most about Touch VPN and it's something I haven't really found with other providers

They have a limited amount of servers but I actually have everything I need. One of the free-plan limit things to just 500 Mb traffic a day but even then you're able to change between server locations if you use that much traffic.

I feel that the VPN has been pretty reliable for me personally. Although, there have been a couple of instances when I didn't use it for whatever reason. Most recently it failed to connect while using it earlier today was due to not having any data connection so maybe something like that affected it as well. I can't remember whether I had used the free one or not before so perhaps something happened previously to trigger that fault in the application

the free one? is it still the trial one

And you'd probably have more luck googling or searching forums if you have problems.

Is TouchVPN any good?

I'm currently on the pre-access free version for 2 months, and am deciding whether to renew it.

I'd just paid for annual subscription because I couldn't stand the monthly charges, but TouchVPN (as an alternative to PureVPN) seemed to be a lot cheaper. My question: what's the verdict?

You can't use the pre-access version if you're a UK resident, as their servers are in the Netherlands. The same is true of PrivateInternetAccess, though they can use non-UK IP's.

The one you like? No need to worry. You have the right of veto - I'd always go with a personal recommendation, but do look at the ratings, especially for reviews from people you know. And there's loads on TouchVPN's web site. Personally I would give them a shot because you can't beat the price, but there's a very good chance someone else has recommended their service already. So that's why I say the best way to find out is from your peers.

Thanks - there were no bad things to say about PureVPN, and the reviews made me think I should use that one next time. You should try OpenVPN. It is the best secure VPN system you can buy at the moment. I use this protocol all the time when out using my mobile phone at WiFi hotspots. It allows me a fast connection anywhere I am in the world.

Thanks - I thought I'd have a bash at OpenVPN, but didn't see it mentioned here so didn't look too closely. This looks good and has reviews on different sites saying it's secure. Would this work on my Mac?

Not so good. I tried the free access to PureVPN at But only got a message 'Sorry. There is no server available near you'. Does it mean there's no UK servers.

I am also from Scotland but I'm sure there are lots of people in Edinburgh and Glasgow who won't need any access to these servers. No sorry, no data centres in England as far as I know.
