How to turn off content restrictions on iPhone without password?

What happens if I enter my restrictions passcode wrong?

I can still connect (I get to see a "Connecting." window) but it's a dead end when I go to setup the phone (the message "Enter your Restrictions Passcode" pops up). Is there any way to get the setup window back up? I'm sure that setting my phone up is important to me - so any idea how I can get to the setup page again?

Do you have any other suggestions? I've tried rebooting the phone, but it still wouldn't give me back the setup window. It really depends on what happened when you entered your passcode wrong. Did you lose network access and have to reboot, or did the phone freeze with the red dot? If it froze with a red dot, you're better off trying and rebooting the device. If it lost network access and rebooted, then the process is as described above.

Hi
First I would like to point out that you could have got the correct settings if you did not get a message that you where entering the passcode wrong but the passcode was accepted and you just rebooted the device. If you got this message then the problem may be the passcode itself or the keystrokes are not being detected. To fix this you can use the 'restore factory settings' function that has been enabled on this firmware.Just tap on settings and than press the 'restore factory settings' button. This will make your phone to a factory reset. Now reenter the passcode and try this one time to see what happens. It may well not work right away or only work once. But if it works all you have to do now is to set up your device again.

I can still connect (I get to see a "Connecting." window) but it's a dead end when I go to setup the phone (the message "Enter your Restrictions Passcode" pops up).

You should have been to the Restrictions screen before losing network connectivity. That is a good idea, however I already know what my restrictions are set at.

How do I get the restrictions passcode off my iPad if I forgot?

Do I have to factory reset my iPad and restore from the backup if I forgot my passcode?

I just found out today that I forgot my passcode on my iPad Air. How do I get it off of my device? I know that you can remove the sim card so the passcode is no longer required but what about if I removed the sim card? Is there a way to get it back on without a backup if I forgot the passcode? Do I have to factory reset my iPad? You don't have to restore it. You have to restore the last backup. All the data will be restored. Only the lock screen will be lost. To access the data, you have to disable the security and enter your email and password.

When you are restoring the last backup, you should use iCloud to restore the content like photos, contacts, messages, bookmarks.

How to turn off content restrictions on iPhone without password?

I am using iPhone 5 with iOS 6.

It has some content restrictions. It means it can't play anything on YouTube or Netflix without a paid subscription. I don't want to pay, so how can I turn off the content restrictions? It's not that I don't want to have paid subscription, I just don't want to have paid subscription for content that I don't even use.

If the apps are paid content you will have to log into your Apple ID and cancel your iTunes in the Account area (not the App Store in the Settings area) then restart your device. After that iTunes will be "turned off" which is what allows for content restrictions.

You can't. At least not anymore, iTunes wasn't just turned off, Apple added new security measures including the restriction of the app Store for third party developers like themselves (and if I remember correctly Netflix was also affected).

There's no known way to disable the content restrictions when using a jailbroken device, but if you don't need to jailbreak you could download the free iFiles app from Cydia and remove the restriction (this will allow you to download free apps such as Spotify).
