Is Disney Plus different in different countries?
I can't find the answer to this on google.
A few countries have more Disney movies than others. Is there a list of the movies on Disney Plus in different countries or is it based on the number of films released by Disney?
They don't publish how many movies they plan to put on DisneyPlus in other countries. Disneyplus has many popular (or most popular) movies in each country, but what I am saying that even if they launch Disneyplus in more countries they will not reach to every market. They didn't make all regions available and have only available in North America and UK for last few years.
You can still access your library if you purchased and rented from iTunes and Amazon and they are the two companies that hold the rights to the movies that are on Disney plus and Disneyplus is a new platform where there is a bunch of movies for a fee (Disneyplus have many free movies, some people consider Disneyplus as Netflix type). Disney doesn't just release movies to a region. They first release the movies to their entire studio, which includes Fox, Pixar and Touchstone (Theatrical releases for Marvel movies). Then, those studios release the movie, or select movies, to each region. Sometimes, Fox will create their own localized Disney-branded release of a movie, just for the region. For instance, Captain America: The Winter Soldier was made for the United States, and then was localized into Mandarin, Korean and French. Also, the localized version of Tomorrowland (2015) was released without the 'United States' version.
There will be a list of movies available per country, as well as a list of countries where it's available, and also a way to opt out of receiving that region's content. We'll get to your specific question, but, to the general question: If the studios are willing to release their film to multiple regions, why should they do this?
Can I use my US Disney Plus account in the UK?
I have a Disney Plus subscription that came with my order of the Switch version.
My order for the UK is coming in around 10 days time. I have already set up my UK card (VISA) and am ready to go. If I do a credit check with VISA and Disney Plus I should be good, right? Are there any catches with buying the UK version and using my VISA, or does it go into auto-payment immediately?
Does my Apple TV/watch support Disney Plus? This is a completely separate question, but I cannot for the life of me figure out if it does (it's my only entertainment console and don't want to waste more time than needed on it!). I am happy to just get straight to the point when it comes to my original request, please let me know! And again, if you get lost in the trees, my original quest was "can I use my US Disney Plus subscription in the UK?", as the other question got away from me and I was asking whether my Apple device supports Disney Plus, as well, please reply. So the answer is yes you can! The only difference being that you need to have it setup on your account on the switch and go in to your VISA setting and it will take you back to the USA version of Disney plus that you got from you switch. I will ask some of the questions in the thread though, sorry didn't notice before. Thanks for answering! Ok, I get that it's not exactly a straightforward yes/no, so I'm not sure why people are answering so personally, as it doesn't add anything to the question, nor is it relevant information to the original question, but still. Thank you guys. This means my question will finally be answered. Now I just have to play it safe and get the VISA from my switch.
My question that has been asked multiple times in this thread, which hopefully someone finally answers -. "Can I access my US Disney Plus with the UK Disney Plus that I purchased for my phone, my laptop, and my Nintendo Switch?
Is US Disney Plus different?
I have heard Disney Plus is like Netflix but it has Disney programming (no one knows why they are doing this) and Disney content is way cheaper (i think they did something where they had the studios offer exclusive shows and movies and they pay a lower price for them). Can someone please explain to me what Disney Plus is? I think its basically Netflix. But is it really worth it? But I hear its pretty great.
If you're in the United States, Disney Plus is different from Netflix, Hulu and YouTube TV, and you get access to all of the new and old films on the platform.95 per month).
What's Different? Disney Plus was built with the idea offering its own original content, such as series like The Mandalorian and Wreck-It Ralph, without the need to rely on third parties like Netflix. However, the plan's price point made it seem more like a traditional streaming service. Disney Plus offers full access to all of the films that Disney released in 2023 and 2023. It's also got a pretty big selection of Disney classics, which most streaming services don't have. However, Disney Plus is missing some big names from the Disney family, such as Toy Story, Captain America and Avengers. There are no Marvel films on Disney Plus, and while there are a few Pixar films, you can't watch them all in their entirety.
Is It Worth It? That said, Disney Plus is worth it if you enjoy the Disney family of films. It's a solid addition to any service, and it's got the Disney Classics and some of the biggest movies ever made. But it does take a lot of watching, as it's not exactly easy to find all of the classics.
However, if you're looking for a complete service, this one isn't for you. There are just too many gaps in the Disney library.
