How do I fix Spotify login error on iPhone?
Spotify is one of the best music streaming apps available.
The problem with it though, is that it's not available for Android users. Now, Apple users can download it from the App Store and they can use it as well.
One problem that users have though is the fact that the app is locked and needs a login to be used. If you try to use the app without logging in, you will get an error and the app won't work.
What's wrong with the Spotify app on iPhone? There's no easy fix for this. You need to contact your phone carrier to ask for a password and then use it to log in. This process is complicated and you might have to contact your carrier every time you want to use the app.
On iOS 10, Spotify released a beta app which works like any other app in the App Store. This means that you will be able to access your Spotify account without being forced to sign up again.
If you use Spotify on your Mac or PC, then you might be wondering if there's a way to get it on your iPhone. Of course, there is. The only thing you need is a third-party app called Spotify Connect.
The app lets you stream your music collection from your Mac or PC to your iPhone. You can use the app to connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC and also listen to your Spotify library. It's a really useful app and it does what it promises.
The only issue is that it's not free and you need to pay for it. The problem is that you have to pay for the app even if you don't use it. There is a limit to the amount of data you can stream and once you reach that limit, the app will start to slow down and you will be forced to pay for more data.
For iOS 10 users, the app comes with an in-app purchase which is free. This means that there's no need to pay to get the app. All you need is a way to transfer your files from your computer to your iPhone.
This is where the aforementioned third-party app comes in. This allows you to stream your Spotify library from your PC or Mac to your iPhone.
How to fix a firewall blocking Spotify?
I'm having a lot of trouble running spotify on my linux box.
I have Ubuntu 14.04 and spotify installed, and it doesn't work. It opens for a bit, then just sits at the main window with the spinning dot and a error message saying: "The Spotify Linux App is currently offline because your firewall is blocking Spotify." The main window just spins, then returns to the loading bar.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling spotify, resetting my firewall to no avail. Any ideas? Re: ? Originally Posted by jjmcclure. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but that didn't seem to help. Also, I didn't know if it would matter, but I set up a iptables filter.
I didn't even know I could change the iptables to allow or block certain traffic until today when I went looking for how to check my current rules and set it up manually. For what it's worth, here are my current iptables rules that I don't think have anything to do with blocking spotify (from Google). You can see that I have three rules in the last column which all say DENY. The first rule is a DROP policy on all traffic. The second rule is an INPUT policy on all traffic. And the third rule is a DROP policy on all traffic.
Thanks for the help! I figured out the problem and the solution was really simple. I just needed to install gnome network manager. After doing that, the firewall is completely blank and spotify works perfectly.

How do I fix error code 30 on Spotify?
(Windows 10)
I've been trying to get Spotify to play a song on my Windows PC for the last two days, and I am not getting anywhere. On the computer where I have successfully used Spotify, the computer is connected to the internet by ethernet cable. I get error code 30, and I can only fix this with a hard restart (sometimes after 5 times). I've tried the following things:
A restarted Spotify (no results). Ran Spotify in Safe Mode. No results.
Tried to move file out of a bad location. Used different port number for Spotify. Updated Spotify. Restored my computer from a recent back-up. Updated Firefox. Ran Spotify in offline mode. Updated Chrome. Downloaded the newest Spotify version. Ran Spotify on another computer. Removed and installed Spotify. Ran Spotify in offline mode again, but before unplugging the ethernet cable. Tried an update from the Spotify website. (This was when all hope had faded.) No results.
Saved all of my contacts from my phone in my Google account. This didn't work.
Ran Spotify in Offline mode. Ran Spotify on my phone. Tried to run Spotify from the Start menu. Tried turning off Aero visual effects. (Doesn't work on Windows 10.
Tried using older version of Spotify. Tried running Windows Media Player. My headphones work fine, so that rules out hardware problems (like a loose connection). I get the exact same results every time I turn off ethernet cable. Sometimes it gets through about a third of the song before stopping. Sometimes, like now, it just hangs. The only times it works right is when the network is plugged in and I am running in online mode. It seems something to do with the ethernet cable or with the Internet connection, but I can't figure it out. Any ideas?
