What does the magic link do?
This magical piece of code will create a random password for you!
Step 1: Log into your computer. If you don't remember which directory you are in, there are a bunch of different ways to find it. And since CD is a command line program, your computer will now be in another directory.
Step 2: Download and install python and pdftk. You can either type these commands from the prompt or from a text document.
Pip install -U python. Pip install -U pdftk. Step 3: Put the following code in a text document with the name magiclink. You might want to try to use this script as a test first. Remember, when you save your text file in a text editor, you want to use text format and not HTML.
Now run your new script file like this: python magiclink.7.py, line 15, in
Import random. File C:Python27librandom.py, line 32, in
What is the difference between magic links and OTP?
Magic links are also known as OTPs, one-time passwords.
OTPs are a convenient method for keeping track of the credentials of your websites and login form. They are generated on an individual basis and do not store credentials. They use technology like bcrypt hashing to secure the user's password. An attacker would need to guess the OTP or use a bruteforce attack.
In a nutshell, you should use a strong password, OTP will offer more security than a weak password. This is not a good idea if you are sharing your password with others though, because it is a good way to make everyone else's password easier to guess!
What is the magic link compatible with?
I have been looking at the links in that thread about the 2200's and the link has been listed.
Anyone that can explain what the heck that link means? And if it's OK to get, what size are they? Sorry, we don't have anyone in our team that's a wizard with Photoshop, so we don't know what we're talking about when we link a picture of a model number to a part number. But I don't think any old link will work. For starters, they are marked down so you can probably only buy them at a bargain bin or clearance sale price.
If you go on Ebay and look for a couple of hours, you'll find links that point to the parts you want for your old 2200. The links might be missing a few pieces, and you'll need to buy all the bits.
What we do in our shop is search eBay for the part number of the 2200 in the item listing. Once we find a listing, we click on the link, and we're taken directly to the vendor's listings on eBay. We then click through to the listing and click on "Add to Cart" and then "Checkout." We buy the item at our own price, but the vendor takes care of shipping. We usually wait till the items ship from China, where many suppliers are based, so we know that the seller will send it within 3-5 days.
But as I said, we don't understand the magic link, so we don't know what sort of links you'll get. I'm assuming it will be like the links we bought in this thread, that is, there will be a direct link to the specific item that you are buying, not a bunch of parts. Is this OK to do, or not OK?
Also, is it just possible that I'm not getting an email confirmation that the link was accepted by you. It seems that no matter how many links I get, I never get an email letting me know that the link was accepted. Perhaps this is normal procedure, but I would rather know for sure that the link was processed properly.
I got a link to where I wanted it pretty much by doing exactly the same thing we did. We used the same link from my original post. You should be fine.
What is an example of a magic link?
The magic link (in D&D 5e) is one of a number of tricks that can be performed to create the illusion of a path that leads to a secret location. One of the most common is using an arrow or similar object held between the two characters.
The characters roll against your Difficulty Modifier to see if they are successful in convincing their opponent (or the group, in a story environment) that the imaginary path exists. The GM should provide a difficulty modifier based on the location, time, and audience of the scene.
A very simple example might look like this: DY: Your opponent has a magic link. If you fail, you have failed.
DM: It's night. The GM rolls against your Link value. You win.
This is assuming a scenario with normal luck dice, such as d20, d100, and the similar d100-type dice.
