Why does my browser keep blocking websites?
I'm a new visitor to Windows 7.
I tried to access the official Apple site on my other computer and it just keeps saying: "The website you are looking for could not be reached." Why is this? Is it a Windows 7 thing? I tried opening it on the old PC at school and it works fine!
I think that your DNS settings may not be set correctly. How have you changed them? Can you try to ping apple.com and see if it gives you a response? If so then change your DNS to a reliable one, like Google DNS.
Why is Google suddenly blocking websites?
For the first time in its history, Google is now blocking websites.
Some are blocking because they use adverts that don't work with some of the features in Google Chrome, but some are blocked as a deliberate punishment for having a website. What happened?
What are the reasons why Google are suddenly blocking websites? 1) Google have started to block websites in Google Chrome. Ads aren't loading. If you're using Google Chrome, you might have noticed that whenever you click on an ad on a website that isn't loading, you will be directed to a blank page. When this happens, it's a clear indication that there's been a mistake with the ads or the website, and the error is being redirected to another page, usually an ad. This is because Google have started to block certain ads and websites that don't play nicely with Chrome.
For example, if a site doesn't load or play the ad, Chrome might show you an error message that looks something like the screenshot below: In order to avoid getting that message, it's best to look out for ads and websites that don't work as they should. Unable to load website content. This happens if a website doesn't load content from the server or doesn't display any content. For example, Google often block sites that are full of content but aren't loading anything.
This is more common on ad-supported websites that can't be updated frequently. If a website hasn't loaded in quite a while, it's probably because the site is currently under maintenance. If the website is currently down, the next best thing to do is to check if the site has returned online recently.
However, if it's been a while since the website last loaded, it's most likely that the website has been blocked from Google's ad networks. If the website you're trying to access hasn't loaded for a while, you might need to refresh the browser window or click on a different tab in your browser to reload the website.
Ads are showing up. Some ads might show up even if you're not clicking on them. This usually means that the ad isn't working properly or the ad network is malfunctioning, so it's best to reload the browser window or click on a different tab to make sure the ads are working again.
