I had spent a lot of money trying to build a strong brand but I was too busy with my day job to put my full focus into growing my brand. I felt like my business was suffering from lack of funding. At one point I felt like I was just trying to keep myself afloat. Then I realized that I needed to make a change and find something to really grow. I was ready to give up on my dream of being a small business owner.

This might seem weird, but they don't really care about your experience, they just want to see if you're qualified.

While you may be lacking experience, you're unlikely to be lacking in skills, so you can probably put yourself in a position where the interview is more of a test of how you present yourself. If you do a good job, they'll have you for an interview and they'll consider you for a job, whether or not you have experience.
