How do I use OpenVPN on a mobile device? OpenVPN was designed to work with mobile devices, so that's the best way to start. You'll need a little bit of experience with SSH, Terminal, and basic Linux commands.

Open an SSH connection from your phone and download our install script. If your mobile device supports SSH, you will be asked if you would like to allow an unlisted SSH host. For most of the time, go ahead and allow it, and then hit Install. For Android users, the install script will pull openVPN APK and install it on your mobile device.
