How much do QA testers make in NY?

Can you be a QA analyst with no experience?

The answer is yes.

But it won't be easy. Like the other roles in your software testing career, you'll need to prove your worth before being hired.

One of the reasons for that is that many QA analysts work at the junior level. A lot of these junior analysts will be working on tasks such as bug triage, or they might be assigned to perform tests using a number of techniques, such as manual testing, automation testing, etc. This is one of the most common roles in many software testing companies. But how do you get there?

The first thing that you need to learn is that you will most likely need a university degree in computer science. This is because you'll need to know programming languages and how software functions, among other things. And just as with other roles in a software testing career, you'll also need to go through a training program. There are a couple of different options available to you: online training, bootcamps, and colleges and universities.

Online Training. Online training is available through a variety of websites and subscription services, such as Udemy. But, if you want to go for a bootcamp or university, then you might have to travel and go through a training program.

A good course will not only prepare you for the job, but it's also a great way to network. When you meet people from all over the world, it gives you an opportunity to explore new places, meet new people, and expand your horizons.

And if you're looking to do this in the UK, then it might be hard to find a good bootcamp or university that takes students from the US, Canada, and Australia. In that case, online training may be your best option.

Bootcamps. A bootcamp, when compared to other types of training programs, is very fast-paced and can be an effective way of getting your foot in the door of a software testing company. If you're considering applying for a position at a QA analyst position, then this is probably the right choice. And even if you aren't looking to join a software testing company, it's always a good idea to attend a bootcamp as it gives you a chance to try out the skills and techniques that you would be expected to use.

How much do QA testers make in NY?

I have been an active QA tester for years and am just entering the career world.

There are a ton of QA jobs that pay well (in terms of the industry norm), however I am finding that there is a shortage. My plan is to go to NY for a few months, get some experience as a QA tester (as well as doing whatever work I can for free), find a permanent job where I can continue to learn, and come back home with plenty of knowledge and experience. How much do QA testers in New York make? Of course, that's not the big deal. In fact, our company was just reorganized and our total headcount just shrank from ~250 to less than 150. My coworkers tell me that we won't be getting any bonus/raise from them when the quarter is over, but I am sure they have some good reason for that.

As far as getting experience in QA goes, I wouldn't worry about that for NYC right now. QA has nothing to do with working for companies. As long as you have the basics down, it's really up to you how you want to expand your career. That's going to be the biggest factor. NYC doesn't offer the best place for a newbie QA tester to expect a high income, though. That's something you'll have to negotiate for when you move here.
