How do I get to advanced Network settings in Windows 11?

How do I prioritize Ethernet in Windows 11?

I had this problem on my old Win 8.

1 machine, I have a D-Link DCS-914T with dual network cards that was working fine. Now it does not even see the adapter if I put it in to my laptop, but when I pull it out it will go right to work, however when I pull it out and plug it back in it starts right where it left off. I am looking for a fix to my problem, I am not willing to start over.

The Ethernet switch should not be an issue. The PC should work fine, though the problem could be that the driver for your Ethernet adapter is not getting updated. I don't know the details of your setup, but try this.

Turn off your PC, unplug the Ethernet cord from the back of the PC and then remove the Ethernet card from the back of the PC. Plug it in to your router or a switch. Wait a few seconds for the hardware to be recognized by the operating system. Plug in the Ethernet cord to the PC.

If you want to update the driver for your Ethernet adapter, then do the following: Plug the Ethernet cable into your computer's "Ethernet port". Open Control Panel and open the "Device Manager" applet. Select the "Network Adapters" category. Select your Ethernet adapter, and click the "Update Driver" button. If the installation completes successfully, the driver for your adapter will be updated, and you can confirm by opening your device manager, clicking on your adapter and looking for a new version. This will help in some cases. If it doesn't work, then you have problems with your Windows install.
