Who voices Orbot Sonic Boom?

When did Mike Pollock voice Eggman?

This is the question that is being posed in my local gaming store.

I don't think it would have been in Melee, at least not on a consistent basis. The earliest I could think of was in Brawl as he was the only player with "super robot" style robots for the last year.

The earliest I know of him voicing Eggman was in Melee. However, he actually speaks for Eggman in Brawl. A lot of people in my club were really happy to see Eggman speak properly in Brawl and I think some people here on GameFAQs actually remember his early voice.

However, I'm just guessing as I don't see the game. But, the first few games I watched of Brawl on TV back when it came out I found myself actually remembering his voice from Brawl.

The earliest I know of him voicing Eggman was in Brawl. It's easy enough to look up Eggman's video file. There's plenty to go around.

Yes, the first game I ever did voice work in was Pokemon Emerald, and I didn't even get chosen to be animator. It was for the game credits though.

I played the first two Zelda games, then got a job offer from Nintendo. They told me "Go play the Zelda games as a test, make sure you can do our voice work." so I went all the way through the whole series (up until Phantom Hourglass) in under two weeks, and that was it. Took about six months for me to get on the official Zelda team.

Who voices Orbot in Sonic Prime?

We're not really sure how far a long Sonic's voice can stretch, or whether it's better suited to being dubbed over an action scene.

If the former's the case, then this is probably one of the more prominent positions on the Sonic team. Maybe they've done a bit of voice acting and now have some material to draw from, though?

What do you think, readers? What was your favourite voice from the series so far? Was someone else surprised that Orbot's voice was by Sonic himself? Let us know in the comments section below. And to finish of I think it should be SONIC THE BEAST and not SONIC THE HEDGEHOG so they can make Sonic the true legendary character again. I want orbot to be voiced by sonic. But since Sonic has to be the main character, why not have him voice frisk as well.i mean that would make all characters sound the same .plus I think it would be interesting to see sonic's character and personality reflected through frisk's in the dub

I personally love the way Orbot's voice sounds and it makes me remember my childhood days spent playing the games back in the day and listening to Sonic and his many companions as I played through each and every episode. Now as I can hear Orbot's voice in the game it brings back many wonderful memories of the Sonic games when I was younger and it makes me sad that we won't be hearing the wonderful voice of Orbot in the English version.

He sounds very close to Sonic's voice, but I guess that's fine because the character is a clone of Sonic. Not too sure though. I mean, most people don't know who Sonic's voice actors are (unless they're famous voice actors), so I think having Sonic voice Orbot makes sense.

Who voices Cubot in Sonic Boom?

I haven't heard of the character in question, but I'm sure there's more than one actor.

You don't have to have a "voice" to do an impression of someone else, just like you don't need to know a language to be able to do an accent. All you need is to have had some exposure to that particular language, and to be able to do it well.

Also, in order to be able to imitate a voice, you'd need to be able to hear it in your head. You can't just try and guess at it or listen to it on TV and try and mimic it.

To those who think this is impossible for an American to pull off: try saying the words, "I love you, mom," in a British accent. See how hard that is? Now, add an entire lifetime of being around Brits and you'll figure out that all Americans aren't actually American, they're Brits in disguise.

That's a great example. It really depends on the individual. Like anything, if you're not good at something, it's going to be hard.

But if you're good at imitating, then it shouldn't be hard to learn what you want to learn. That said, I've heard of some people who have been asked to do a voice (or a series of voices) over the years and have declined, citing some of the reasons mentioned above. It's a very personal thing, for sure.
