What does use setup script mean?
This should work, it is not tested, however this is one way to fix the problem. Install.packages('package-name', INSTALLATION = 'libs', character.only=TRUE)
I am unsure if it can work in all cases, for instance the current install.packages function works with character only arguments (see here), however I do not know if it will work when doing 'install.packages(subset=some.package)'.
The code may not be the best, it was written quickly but it should work. There is a difference between character.only and character. I don't know what your setup script looks like, but I don't think it has setup any arguments with the '.' symbol (as you use the character.only = TRUE option). That means it looks for an argument called '. If there isn't one, it fails.
A work around is to set character.only = FALSE. In my experience it is possible to have the same error with the character. FALSE (without the quotes).
How do I find my proxy script address?
Proxy scripts (which we cover in detail later) have a common address and can be easily found by typing proxy into your Chrome browser. Alternatively you may visit this link to view all of your proxies using Google Chrome: What about Tor? Some VPN providers are also offering Tor access. In case you would like to try the Tor Browser, I recommend checking out the tutorial from Mozilla at: or you may use the Tor Link provided for your country/location: TOR is available by default as it provides the privacy and anonymity that most use when connecting to the internet. This makes it extremely popular among hackers and activists, but if you use a secure VPN service, it doesn't really matter where you go as you are connected privately.
Is there any difference between VPN services and proxies? VPN is an abbreviation for Virtual Private Network and gives you a secure tunnel through which all of your Internet traffic passes while a Proxy server acts more like a firewall in that only specific IP addresses can see your connection. Is it better to use VPN services or Proxy services? When using the services of a company, you should always be wary of what they are telling you. This seems obvious but if you sign up for a free service of a given company, you may get very bad information. VPN providers generally offer paid options too.
The best way to go about it is to use both a VPN service and a proxy. This will help you in two ways. Firstly, when you are connected through the VPN servers, all of your Internet traffic will bypass the regular firewalls. Secondly, when you are using an on-demand proxy like TOR Browser, it will take a lot of pressure off from your regular ISP which makes the regular traffic appear as normal. In addition, using a regular VPN for the first time may trigger some security settings in your computer and browser which may make you vulnerable to malicious sites.
I really like the idea of having both a VPN and an on demand Proxy. When you use one in combination with the other, you do not need to constantly worry about logging and security settings while using the Internet.
How do I remove proxy script address?
]
I googled it, how could I make those proxy settings blank? I have the setting, and I also have a blank textbox in windows control panel, which I can type the address in it. When I clear the proxy settings via control panel. Windows 10 tells me. What does it mean? Thanks for help! It sounds like you're trying to solve a different problem. If you want to remove the "curl" from Firefox, then: In Firefox > Settings > Privacy > Content Settings, deselect all checkboxes. In Firefox > Preferences > Advanced, select Reset. If you want to just have "Firefox" go directly to the webpages without passing through the proxy - that's not possible, but you could modify the hosts file on your Raspberry Pi so that no external connection uses the Raspberry Pi as a proxy. You can use whatever editor you like; many Linux systems come with gedit, and many Windows computers (like Win7) have Notepad and others.
Make a note of which line the Raspberry Pi should point to: 127.1 raspberrypi Delete that line and save the file. You should be able to test that by opening a web browser on your PC: You'll be prompted for your username and password - that's how most sites log you into their systems - so you shouldn't need to fill them in to visit websites. Now, the Raspberry Pi itself should be able to access the internet without passing through a proxy: I hope this helps.
