How to unblock websites at school?
I have a school assignment to create a website. I've chosen to build a website using a CMS. The assignment is due on the 13th of December.
I need to know , so I can finish my website. I'm using a laptop that is connected to the network at school. I'm using Windows 7. I've tried googling it, and I've tried searching the forum, but no luck. Can anyone help me? Thanks. 01-30-2013, 07:44 PM. Jimmyjoe. The school probably has a proxy server that is set to block all access to the internet. You need to configure your browser to use the proxy server and not the regular internet connection.

If you are using a laptop, and it is connected to the internet at school, chances are that the proxy server is set to block all the internet access at school. If this is the case, you need to set your browser to use your school's internet connection (not the proxy server's).
If you are using a desktop computer, and you are connected to the internet at home, chances are that your school's proxy server is set to block all the internet access at home. If this is the case, you need to set your browser to use your home's internet connection (not the proxy server's).
If you are using a desktop computer, and you are connected to the internet at both your home and school, chances are that the proxy server is set to block all the internet access at both your home and school. If this is the case, you need to set your browser to use the internet connection that you are connected to at both your home and school. If this is the case, you need to set your browser to use your home's internet connection (not the proxy server's).
Which browser is best for blocked sites?
Every single web browser has its own blocked sites list. You need to know what is best for you, however. All worlds are equal but some are more equal than others. ? Browser market is huge and we get poor offers daily, every single day, after using this or that, praising this and hating on that, these or those strange features, and you know what, it's hard to be half-decent on such a huge market. So which browser is in the best according to you overall, that is - the browser with all advantages, none of those disads or not much of any one. They all have different good quality. It's much better to use something you like then your main thing is its excellent. You should choose your own favorite infield.
That's it. No pissing around. Failing to pick something or saying NOPE to others browsers, I don't like that.
